What do our partners say?
“I want to put in a good word for Scarlett at Parcel Arts. She was really good with the students. She got them involved from the minute they walked in the door. She asked them about their favorite underwater creatures and asked them to share their knowledge through the whole class. She sprinkled in facts, encouraged the students to look at the books, and had videos of undersea life playing throughout the class for inspiration. She got the super-shy kids to talk to her. She showed them how to make some of the animals and encouraged them to create anything they wanted to. She invited everyone to share and talk about what they had made. One of the students made an incredible octopus, and Scarlett invited her, like it was no big deal, to come up and teach the class how to make it. It was truly one of the best legacy art classes for kids I’ve been in. The students had a great time.” – Becky Walpole, Library Branch Manager for Anoka County
“It was so much fun working with you. After I got home that night, my 18 year-old daughter and her friend were so excited about the cool mini snacks I made, that they spent the next 2 hours using my leftover clay and making little animals and food. Best of all, my daughter loved my pizza so much that she asked if she could bring it with her to college! Thanks again for the wonderful art experience and I look forward to working with you and Parcel Arts again in the future.” – Teresa Allessi, Librarian for Washington County
